Every day we store the lowest, the typical and the highest price across the stations that have reported. The average in the report is the average of the daily median prices, not an average of all readings — so a single station with an unusual price doesn't skew the figure. Cheapest and most expensive station are the lowest and highest price we have seen in the period; for the brands it is the median of everything the brand reported, and only brands with at least five stations in the figures are included.
